# Oracle Accounting Hub

Design and implementation of accounting rules that turn core system events into traceable journal entries.

## What it includes

- Design of accounting rules by product and event.
- Integration of core systems as data sources.
- Architect or functional lead for Accounting Hub Cloud (AHC) and Financial Accounting Hub (FAH).
- Financials: general ledger (GL), accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), fixed assets and cash.

## Result

Every journal entry can be explained from the event that originated it and the rule applied; the rules are documented by product.

## Frequently asked questions

**What is the difference between AHC and FAH?** Financial Accounting Hub (FAH) is the Oracle E-Business Suite module installed on the institution’s own servers; Accounting Hub Cloud (AHC) is the equivalent service in Oracle Cloud. Rule design follows the same logic, which is why a migration from FAH to AHC starts from the rules already defined.

**How long does an implementation take?** It depends on the number of products and sources. It is estimated during the assessment, with the inventory of the institution’s products and accounting events.
